Sun Raven Arts founded in 2015 is an indigenous arts initiative for everyone.Rhonda Lucy, 2 spirit Mohawk Founder and Artistic Director is a front line social worker of over 11 years and award winning arts professional in film, theatre and visual arts.
Blending these skills for healing through the arts using  indigenous knowledge. These  teachings have created very special and unique programs that have been proven effective.

We are partnered with many organizations across Canada running workshops, speaking at conferences, and engaging with the educational systems teaching in schools from JK to university levels.

She has traveled throughout Canada with Sun Raven Arts offering after school programs, community arts and education, and healing arts programs for youth and adults recovering from trauma and building life skills with traditional knowledge.
Our programs are arts based with indigenous education and leaders aiding in healing, skills development, harm reduction, self-esteem, and bridging communities through visual arts, film, theatre, dance, music and tradition.

Empowering voices through the arts. Help rise our communities in coming together in a good way providing activities and support for people with little to no access.  - Surviving my life from the streets getting my self educated and trained helped me find a new way to support others and give that back to those that seek it. I believe healing is for everyone. -Rhonda Lucy26268754_1543816570765349_r.jpeg26268754_1543816595182229_r.jpeg26268754_1543816625726243_r.jpeg26268754_1543816670398157_r.jpeg Its time for change its time to rise! This week we will be heading to native women's resources Toronto to start talking about our arts based 7 grandfather teachings program. We use these teachings with different types of visual arts to help each child realize the power and potential they have to overcome trauma they have faced. Thank you again for your support.
