Start-up Award Fund

Summit Leaders aims to encourage entrepreneurialism among high-potential low-income high school students. Our pilot project is a start-up competition with 34 bright and eager grade 12 students from Central Technical School in Toronto.

Students are working with mentors from Rotman's MBA program to develop creative and feasible business plans. Working in teams, the students will pitch their ideas to a panel of carefully selected judges with a wealth of experience in business, consulting and investing in January 2016. The purpose of this campaign is to raise money for a scholarship fund that the winners can use to apply to university or kick-start their newly-founded company!

Any money raised will make a huge difference to our students, many of whom have little family support and have extreme difficulty accessing traditional avenues of funding. We are extremely grateful for any contribution you can make to help these high-potential kids beat the odds.

If you have any questions or just want to chat, please feel free to reach out to Laura McGee or David St. Bernard on LinkedIn.

Cheers!
