Sue Rausch's Legacy

Mrs. Rausch is retiring and YOU can make sure her legacy lives on through the "Sue Rausch Performing Arts Grant". Each year, ABCUSD teachers will apply for a performing arts grant for up to $2,000. The grant will support drama, theater, stage crew, choir and band programs.
Why donate?
Because Sue invested so much in us during her 40 years at CHS, so the least we can do is invest in the future of performing arts in ABCUSD. Future students will miss out on her amazing instruction, passion for the arts and all the lessons we learned, but we can make sure that arts programs live on in her name.
How much should I donate?
Any amount you would like! Every donation makes a difference and we all need to band together for raise the seed funds! Whether it is $25, $250 or $2,500 - YOU are appreciating Sue and providing arts programs to future students!
Your donation will go directly to the ABC Unified Education Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, which means your donation is tax deductible. The goal of $20,000 means that the grant will be funded for 10+ years, at which time the foundation has agreed to continue funding the "Sue Rausch Performing Arts Grant" on an ongoing basis.
In addition, the Cerritos High School Theater will be dedicated to Mrs. Rausch! The school administration has approved the installation of a permanent plaque in a prominent location inside the theater. Stay tuned for details on the date for the theater dedication!
Thank you SO MUCH for donating in Mrs. Sue Rausch's honor! She is the best teacher I ever had who taught me leadership, compassion, empowerment, the value of education and the arts, and so much more. It isn't easy to find a way to say thank you, but this grant is one way to do so. WE LOVE YOU, MRS. RAUSCH!!!!!!!
