On the 21st June 2015 Stuart was involved in a serious road traffic accident while on holiday in Turkey. He suffered a severe head injury, fracturing his skull and incurring two brain bleeds. He was in a medically induced coma for five days.
Stuart’s medical bills are extremely high, with 8 days in intensive care, two major brain operations, a series of CT scans and blood transfusions in a Turkish hospital to pay for. We also need to pay for the air ambulance that transferred him to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow, where he is now receiving care.
Although money seems like such an unnecessary worry at this time, the reality is that we need to pay for Stuart’s treatment so far and his subsequent care.
We are asking for any donations, no matter how small, to help towards these costs.
The target we’ve set is by no means the full extent of Stuart’s medical bills but any money we can raise will be a massive help.
