Stripey the Cat-Save His Life

Donation protected

Stripey was adopted from a shelter when I was 3 years old, along with one other cat, Halo. Halo passed away a few years ago when i was about 11. Unfortunately, Halo became very ill and we had to put him to sleep. Now I am 13, and Stripey has been diagnosed with bladder stones. At first the vet thought they could dissolve with a good diet, but when they got the urin test back, they figured out that it only goes away with surgery.

Stripey is very uncomfortable, and as soon as he shows signs of severe pain, he has to be put down, and I am very scared of losing something that means so much to me and has been there with me almost my whole life. It hurts him every time he tries to pee, and when he does, it is red. This has driven him to starve himself because he is too scared to put himself in more pain.

All the funds will go towards the surgery, which is vital if we want him to survive. The only problem is the cost of the surgery, which is $1,200. It bothers me to know that if we lose him, it will only be because we didn't have enough money.

We don't know exactly how much time we have left before we need to end his suffering, but we guessed we would need the money in 15-35 days. Anything will help.

Stripey is a very loving cat and he does not deserve all this pain. These stones are like little knives cutting into his insides every time he pees. Every time I've been upset, he's been there for me to give me cuddles. He means the most to me, and I don't know what I would do if he passed away. I would be so thankful if you donated, I don't want to lose Stripey the way I lost Halo.
