Help the STRAPS Power Soccer team

My name is Corey Brooks and I am the team Captain for the STRAPS Scorpions power soccer team. My power soccer team was created Three years ago to give the disabled community of San Antonio an oppurtunity to play the competitve sport of Power Soccer. Power soccer is an adapted version of able bodied soccer and is the first and one of the only competetive sports for disbled individuals that use power wheelchairs. The individuals that play power soccer have disabilites such as spinal cord injury, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and many more.  As time has passed the skill level and devotion of our players has increased to such a level that we are seeking to become a United States Power Soccer Assocation conference power soccer team. The STRAPS power soccer team is hoping to become part of the conference for the 2016-2017 USPSA power soccer season. The 2016-2017 power soccer season starts in October 2016. As much as we want to become part of the USPSA conference, we will not be able to do so if we do not recieve sufficient funds. The money that we receive will be used for purchasing power soccer equipment, maintain our equipment, tournament fees, and travel expenses. The athletes on the STRAPS power soccer team work as hard as any other athletes and with your support these athletes will be able to advance onto the next level and compete with teams from all over the United States. The STRAPS power soccer team will be thankful for any donations we recieve and if we meet our goal our dream of being a USPSA conference team will become a reality.
