Sigiswald Kuijken Concert

MusicSources Center for Historically Informed Performance is raising money for an exciting concert with guest artist Sigiswald Kuijken. Mr. Kuijken, founder of Le Petite Bande, will be bringing a concert of Vivaldi, Bach, Corelli, and others, to the MusicSources 30th season celebration. He will be performing on the violin as well as the Violoncello Da Spalla, along with a chamber ensemble comprised of some of the finest local bay area baroque musicians. This will be the first time on the West Coast that this rare instrument will be heard. Funds raised will go toward the costs of producing this concert including artists fees, travel, etc. We need the funds by April 5th, 2016 to insure that we are able to successfully present this unforgettable event. MusicSources is a tax-exempt charity and so donations may be tax deductible (check with your tax professional).
As a special thank you to the first 10 individuals to donate $100 or more, JungHae Kim, Co-Director of MusicSources, will send you a signed copy of her recent J.S. Bach Fantasias & Suites 2 disc set.
For those who choose to donate $400 or more, you will be invited to a “Musical Soiree” in which our own Gilbert Martinez (in his 10th season as Artistic Director!) has agreed to perform a mostly Bach recital on one of MusicSources newly acquired instruments.
For anyone donating over $1000, Gilbert has agreed to bring the program to your home where you may host your own guests (Gilbert hopes to complete these bonus concerts prior to his return to Europe in late April).
All Donations over $60 will receive 1 complimentary ticket to this concert in addition to any other gifts outlined above. All donations over $100 will receive two complimentary tickets to the concert.

This venue has an adjacent parking lot, as well as ample street parking near the entrance of the church. St. Mary Magdalen is wheelchair accessible.
