Stop wind turbines in NorthStormont

We are the Concerned Citizens of North Stormont Group. 

We are currenty funding the next stage of our legal journey to have the Nation Rise Wind Project in North Stormont, Ontario permenantly cancelled. The company that owns the project is now appealing the Ontario Environment Minister's (Yurek) decision, in early December 2019, to revoke their Renewable Energy Approval (REA) due to the harm of local colonies of endangered bats. Our group has applied and been approved to be part of the legal proceedings to help make sure our local voice is heard and local environment stays protected.  We do not want the REA to get reinstated. The proceedings are now scheduled to start on March 20th 2020.

Help us protect our PRIME agricultural land, natural green habitals, local endangered species, and most of all our safe, clean groundwater.
