Stolen Car: Christmas Without Wheels

Donation protected
On Friday the 7th of December around 6 am my dearest sweetheart's  Tristan's car was stolen. That morning it was around 20 degrees outside and he had just run back in to grab a tie and undershirt in preparation for a military DA photo he was supposed to attend to that day. While he was inside grabbing a few items, a couple guys drove up, one man got out of the suspect's car and took Tristan's car.

Tristan is a fun, selfless, and caring family man that has dedicated his life to helping others by any means, even if it's the last of his own money.  He holds study groups with high school students weekly and exercises sessions weekly as well. Tristan is dependable and reliable has committed himself to the United States Army entirely, for the last 10years, and plans on retiring after completing at least 10 more years. He is currently a U.S. Army recruiter that specializes in helping young men and women and adults get on the right path. He has held this position for the past year, commuting 1 hour to and from work and home.

This situation has devastated our family deeply. Not only is the car gone, but there were Christmas gifts inside, babies car seat base and along with other items like a government computer. The most important thing that was taken abruptly is the memories we shared through a plethora of road trips we have taken in that car.

The most upsetting thing is the car was uninsured at the time of the theft. This was poor judgment, but had good intentions behind it, in preparation to buy our kids Christmas gifts and pay other bills off the car insurance was sacrificed. We all have made mistakes and due to the events that transpired, this has left us having to come up with money we do not have for a car and for our children's Christmas this year.

Anything can help, even a share! We estimated getting a decent car that can get from point A to B would be about $4500 even, and we will just try to do what we can for our kids for Christmas.

God bless you all, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
