St LUKES PRIMARY, DOMINICA, CLASSROOM REPAIRS.

FUNDS TO ASSIST St LUKES SCHOOL, POINTE MICHEL, DOMINICA CLASSROOM REPAIRS. So (May 2018) I went to my motherland Dominica to see how my father was coping and to see the devastation first hand that Hurricane Maria had perpetrated on the beautiful island of Dominica in 2017, what I saw actually bought tears to my eyes, and to witness how the Dominicans just carried on with their lives with applied humility and dignity was a sight and experience to behold and remember. My father was born, grew up and lived in a village called Pointe Michel which had the highest number of fatalities in a Dominican village during the hurricane. Over 7 years ago I took the village school called St Lukes (which was badly damaged during Hurricane Maria) under my wing and endeavoured as someone that works in learning and development and also someone that wants to TRY and make a difference to assist them in attaining various resources that are URGENTLY needed for them to continue doing the amazing work that they do educating the young children of Pointe Michel.
