The Stinger Emmaus HS newspaper

We are The Stinger,  Emmaus High School's award-winning student newspaper.  Our talented staff works diligently all year long to produce an outstanding and reliable publication both online and in print.

We are currently seeking funds to enter and attend the 2018 National School Press Association fall journalism conference in Chicago -- a national event that brings young journalists together in workshops, write-off competitions, and critiques. 

This past fall,  our editors received national recognition in Dallas for their on-demand writing,  with ranking titles of superior, excellent, and honorable mention. 

In previous years, the NSPA has presented our writers with several top 10 journalism awards in the nation for outstanding writing and editorial cartooning. We hope to continue this tradition through ongoing education and training.

In order for us to attend NSPA's conference this year, we will need to raise the funds before the beginning of September and are seeking support from people who support student journalism. Please consider even the smallest contribution for our cause, as every donation will help us!
