Steve's "Living with cancer" fund

Last November Steve was diagnosed with a tumor on his gall bladder.  When they operated to remove it, it was discovered to be attached in so many places it was not possible to cut it out without killing him on the spot.  The Doctor said that by the time it was discovered, it was already too late to do anything to cure it.  He has lost a lot of weight and has good days and not-so-good days.  He is currently doing chemotherapy in an effort to make his life more comfortable, and after 1 round of 2 treatments it seems to be making a positive difference.  He has tolerated the chemo quite well with only some side effects. We will know more after the next round when they will do a sonogram and check the status of the tumor.  His attitude is amazingly positive.  He has had to quit working and like so many of us did not have much in savings. His medical bills are taken care of through provincial insurance, but not his living expenses.  Which is what any funds will be used for. His goal is to have a little more time living on his boat (a huge dream only recently fulfilled), and to be able to maybe restore some of his strength so he can take care of his beloved golden retrievers Madison and Tucker.  (The photo used is of Tucker as Steve said a photo of himself would send people running for the hills!)
