HELP STEVE FIGHT CANCER

Steve is a friend and co-worker of ours. Right around Thanksgiving Day, Steve was in the doctors office with concerns about having a hard time swallowing. Now (3 weeks later) Steve is out of work and has been diagnosed with stage 4 Esophageal Cancer fighting the battle of his life. We (his co-workers and friends) have started this fund to help him and his wife Sheryl through this extremely hard time.
Steve is more than just a co-worker to us....he is a trusted friend, a good father and grandfather and a committed and loving husband to his wife. He's the kind of guy that you can offload some of lifes issues onto at work and trust that they won't be repeated. The kind of guy that doesn't smoke, doesn't drink and isn't too good to take a joke. Just an easy going, hard working and genuinly good guy.
I can remember when we all used to put in for the weekly powerball drawing at work...Steve declined to throw in. I told him "you're going to regret it when we win the jackpot." His response was "No I'll be happy for you guys, I already have everything I need." The funny part is, he was telling the truth. Steve was happy with his life just the way it was. He didn't need a million dollars, never looked for a handout and was content with his health, his family and his job.
Well that's all changed now. His diagnosis has taken him out of work and put him in radiation and chemotherapy treatments in a matter of weeks. He's never asked us for help, but I'm proposing that we provide it. I can't think of anyone who's more deserving of it....something to help pay the bills so he and his wife can dedicate their thoughts and energy to fighting this. Something to show him that we are all behind him and supporting him through this. I am by far a rich person and know what it's like to struggle to pay the bills(as we all do)... but I do not know what its like to be in his position. I do know that my money can be replenished because I am luckily healthy enough to keep working....and right now Steve is not. Any donation will help. Any amount is OK. Their is strength in numbers. If you are not able to donate PLEASE SHARE so that others can.
