Steve & Patty Need Assistance
Donation protected
There are very few members of our Association who have stepped up and helped other members or the Association like Steve and Patty Gilbreath. Patty has assisted the Director’s office on various projects and helps every year at Belton. Steve recently was awarded an “Exceptional Action” award for his many assists provided to other members in Region 13. One of those assists was removing a member’s El Camino from the flooded remains of her home. His attitude has always been “Have Trailer, Will Travel” when it came to members in need. And I believe that I’m safe in saying that no other couple has ever been married at an NECOA event (Belton) at a ceremony officiated by an NECOA member (Keyser Sose)!
Steve proudly served his Country as a United States Marine. Now, he and Patty are in need of our assistance. As many of you know, Steve just last week suffered a stroke, and is now in long-term rehabilitation. He still has paralysis on his left side. The long term care will resolve itself – it’s in the short term that we can help them get through this devastating time in their lives......………….Ken Rogers, National Director, National El Camino Owners Association (NECOA)
