Hello!
First, I'd like to thank you for even taking a look at my GoFundMe page. I appreciate you taking the time to consider supporting my education at the Memphis School of Preaching (MSOP).
Well, this is where I am supposed to explain what is special about me and my goals. First, there is nothing special or remarkable about me. I'm just a guy who was raised by parents who instilled in me a love for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What is special and remarkable is this; we are called by God to glorify him in our lives and that is what I intend to do. I believe the most important purpose in my life is to live it in accordance with God's Word. My goal is to work for my Lord and Savior to the best of my ability, which means I need to further prepare myself so that I can handle the Word of God accurately (2 Tim 2:15).
Starting in August 2017 I will begin two years of intense study at MSOP, one of the most respected schools in the brotherhood. At the end of two years I plan to be prepared to spread the Gospel message to whoever will listen.
This is the part where I ask for your financial support. This part makes me uncomfortable, but it is required. MSOP does not charge tuition, but I need support for my living expenses. The school estimates I will need $1,200-$1,500 per month. Assuming I live in school housing 9 months per year for two years, that's $21,600! I think I can live cheaper than that. I am asking for $20,000 total. I would like to raise all of my support by the time I start school in August.
I ask you to prayerfully consider supporting me on my path. Aside from financial support, I ask for your prayers and encouragement along the way. I am happy to speak with and/or visit anyone who wants more information or to meet me.
