Stephens Elementary School has an OUTSTANDING drama program, full of kids and teachers who strive for greatness! Our sound system is 25 years old and the quality is failing.
As many of you have probably seen on the news, Youtube and maybe even experienced as Stephens parents, this school has the potential to enrich the lives of SO many students daily. Mr. Chad Caddell and Dr. Kirk MacKenzie are heading up this year's drama production which encompasses every grade level and is spread out over 6 nights! Our goal is to be fully funded and have sound upgrades in place by the time the cast takes the stage on Monday, April 25.
Our sound system is used frequently, outside of these Drama Club events, too. We use it daily in the cafeteria. It is also used for assemblies and gatherings we host throughout the year, including the 'Daughter Dance' and 'Huddlebrations' where children and mentors come together.
The PTA has committed to helping us raise half of the funds needed for this project, now we are asking you to help us raise the rest.
