This is our amazing brother Stephen Monelle, Stephen has a condition called LAURENCE-MOON-BARDET-BIEDL SYNDROME (LMBBS)
LMBB Syndrome is a rare, recessively inherited disorder which affects approximately 1 in 100,000 babies born.
Stephen lives in a residential care home and attends a day centre called ‘The Haven’ he’s been attending this day centre for many many years and he absolutely loves it there, recently we’ve been made aware that due to recent cuts and price increases Stephen may not be able to continue to go as often, this makes him so sad as all of his friends are there and he has such a great time. This day centre is his life, he would choose this over any other activity in the world.
We, as Stephens brothers and sister are going to try and raise the extra money needed for him to continue going through various events, we’ve had a great response so far but appreciate life is busy, a few people have asked us if they can donate regardless so we have set up this page, we are aiming to raise £2,500 by 14th April 2019 which will be enough money to allow Stephen to keep attending for another whole year.
This would make him so happy. We really appreciate everyone’s help and support.
