Steph and Sabrina are grieving the loss of Keegan, their 19 year old son. Keegan was shot and killed in Oakville on Friday, July 13, 2018.
Losing a child is the worst kind of grief that a parent could ever have to endure. Sabrina was initially hospitalized to help her cope with the unbearable loss of her son. As owners of The Beehive Hair Studio, a long-standing and much loved business in the Oakville community, Steph and Sabrina are self-employed and rely on their business as their sole source of income. Because of this tragedy, they are faced with having to close their business until their family is able to work through their grief. With the business closed, they will struggle with the financial burden of the funeral and life's everyday expenses.
