Step up for Kevin

Kevin Redling has been through some really tough times... A Bayonne friend, that at a relatively young age, had a pacemaker installed to deal with multiple heart related issues, Kevin has been unable to work for many years, and the small savings he had accumulated are now gone, largely due to recurrent, and unexpected medical costs.
Kevin, a proud man has been forced to move in with a younger family member.
Kevin has been recovering from a long, debilitating illness, in which he was hospitalized, and in a coma for over 2 months, followed by a very lengthy stay in rehab to teach him how to breathe without a ventilator and perhaps ...learn to walk a bit again.  But tragedy has struck again. Kevin was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. This issue is further compromised by the fact that he is now dealing with pneumonia, and his COPD, and heart failure issues preclude the possibility of any surgery to remove the tumors.
Kevin is now facing   a round of extremely invasive chemotherapy, which he may not be able to survive. A proud man, a superb athlete in his youth and a friend to thousands, Kevin now finds himself in a position where he has to concern himself with worrying about final expenses ...and the lack of these funds.
The burden on his caregivers is draining and with no potential for earning the funds required for end of life care and services, It falls to those of us that grew up with Kevin, that competed with Kevin on athletic fields, that shared laughs and life with Kevin to step up. Let's help him retain the dignity that he earned as our friend, and brother and teammate by allowing him the peace of a dignified close to the book of his life.  Step up for Kevin Redling.   Thank you...
