Help a MOM Survive Cancer

This campaign is to collect funds for my colleague whose mother is suffering from blood cancer (Leukemia) for past 4 months and is undergoing Chemotherapy treatment in CMC (Christian Medical College), Vellore, India.The doctor advised that the permanent cure for this disease is STEM CELL treatment. The total cost would range from 40 lakhs to 50 lakhs INR (which includes stem cell arranging from donor and for the treatment), depending on the country where donor resides. This would not be covered under insurance in India. They neither have any property to sell nor have any financial back up to pay this huge amount, being a middle class family member.

There is a chance that this treatment can prolong her life or may cure her permanently. This type of blood cancer (Leukemia) is very aggressive.
