WELCOME TO THE
STEAMBOAT DIGS DOGS!
PARK AND TRAIL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
We are a newly founded and permanent organization that advocates for the dogs in our Steamboat Springs community. Our organization has brought together our dog families, our Police Department, our local division of Colorado Parks and Wildlife, our Parks, Recreation and Open Space office, and our City Council to work together in a grass-roots effort to create more off-leash opportunities for Steamboat dogs. Our first goals are outlined below. Please join us. All donations are appreciated. Thank you Steamboat Springs!
GOAL 1: To Raise $10,000
The minimum deposit required to establish a 501C3 Community Endowment Fund.
A 501C3 allows us to create a permanent, traceable fund for the Steamboat Digs Dogs organization.
GOAL 2: To Raise Additional $15,000, this will supplement our 501C3 Working Capital.
Capital funds to be used for the creation, improvement, and maintenance of community exercise areas for dogs.
GOAL 3: To Begin Rita Valentine Improvement, Spring 2017
We are working with Josh Anzulewicz who is a Park Designer by trade and has volunteered his time to design a functional park that will include a water fountain, watering for trees, shade/picnic shelters, benches, fenced area for smaller or older dogs and improved parking. Josh’s vision centers on preserving the natural beauty of the area.
100% of your donation will directly fund the Steamboat Digs Dogs! 501C3 and will directly improve the outdoor lives of our Steamboat Dogs.
