DOUG BUILDS STAR WARS!!

Growing up with Star Wars was the best thing in the world! I had a few toys and they were fun and all... I just wish they could have been bigger, louder and with all kinds of lights and effects. Decades later I decided to make this a reality.

For over 2 years I've been working on a five foot X-wing fighter made entirely from trash and surplus parts. My original idea was to build most of the ships and vehicles from Star Wars. After building just this one ship and seeing how much time and effort goes into this, I realized that's not going to happen. The X-wing is just about finished, the electronics are in and it's waiting for it's first coat of paint. It's amazing! Lights, sound effect and huge! It turned out better than I thought it would.

I thought I would be finished after the X-wing, but it just seems a little lonely. So I would like to finish my campaign by building a TIE fighter. I mean you can't really have a giant X-wing without a TIE fighter to match right? So if you'd like to donate, that would be great! I'd love to get this done and out of my system!
