Star Wars for Kids with Cancer

Donation protected
Over the last two years my son has been fighting cancer and I know the hardship kids with cancer go through while in treatment.  The 501st Legion Everglades Squad, a group of volunteer costumers who dress up in Star Wars costumes, has been visiting children's hospitals in South Florida to cheer up the kids with cancer.  They are able to pull the kids minds away from their world of the hospital for a few minutes and enter the Star Wars world and the smiles could not be bigger.
It came to me that the Legion members might be able to do more for the kids by extending this moment of happiness by getting each child a set of Star Wars DVDs that they could watch to pass their time while in the hospital.  I am  looking to the community to help me raise enough money that we can supply the Storm Troopers with enough movies to do this.  All of the money will go 100% directly to buy Star Wars movies and potentially players that will be given to the children in the hospital when we visit.
Here is a quick story of the power of the Force.  The child in the photo you see here was unresponsive to doctors, nurses, and his parents.  He had stopped talking.  The doctors knew he liked Star Wars and asked the troopers specifically to visit his room.  When we came in he immediately sat up and began chatting away telling us which characters he liked, what he thought would happen in the next episode, and wielding his light saber.  A week later I visited the hospital on another matter and was told he is still talking about our visit and we were thanked by his parents.   He had only seen just one of the movies.  For most of these kids, they are spending months in the hospital and most of it in bed.  Giving them movies would allow them to escape with stories about people who beat the odds and have hope.

So I need your help to raise money so that I can buy DVDs to give to the squad members from the Legion that go into the hospitals.
After our success with this program at Holtz Children's Hospital, I am increasing the money I want to raise.

Just a $20 donation will assure a smile on the face of a child fighting cancer.
