Stanley's Eagle Scout Project

Hi, my name is Stanley Misevich and I am a senior at Dexter High School. I am heavily involved in the drama club, and I like to challenge myself with difficult classes/activities. When I am not at rehearsal or school, I work part-time at a local bowling alley.

While I spend a lot of time at school and work, I am also a life scout in Boy Scout Troop 448. In order to earn Eagle, however, I must complete an Eagle Scout project. I plan to build a bird flight cage for the Bird Center of Washtenaw County where injured birds can be rehabilitated before being released back into the wild. This will be built in my neighbor's yard, so she, too, will benefit from this project, for she loves to help birds and take care of them. Below is a 3D sketch of what I am planning to construct.

I created this page to help me raise the funds required to purchase materials, tools, food for volunteers, etc. I would like to get started on this project as soon as possible so that the Bird Center will have another flight cage available for them to place birds in. No donation is too small and, of course, no donation is too large either. Anything is appreciated and will help me complete this project and become an Eagle Scout. All funds that are not used for the project will be donated to the Bird Center of Washtenaw County.
