Stand Up 2017

Stand Up for Your Faith 2017 is a unique 24 hour faith filled outdoor fundraising challenge. H.E.R.O. Youth Ministry is focusing on funding the relief efforts for St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Huffman, Texas, devastated by Hurricane Harvey earlier this year. Our teen participants will solicit sponsorship for every hour they successfully hold upright a 200 lb. wooden cross. Through teamwork, determination, and grace, most teens joyfully endure the full 24 hours. Fueled by lots of good food, fun, games, and praise and worship, the group will triumphantly carry the massive cross into the Worship Space to begin the celebration of our youth-focused closing Mass.
