Stand by Patty Rosati

As some of you may know, my mom was diagnosed with with colorectal cancer in October of 2015, which for my family was very devastating. After surgery, radiation, and chemo pills, the cancer seemed to have disappeared and we all moved on with our lives, thinking it was gone for good. Then exactly 2 years later, our world was turned upside down again. The tumor had returned, larger and more aggressive then before. For those of you who know my mom, you know how strong, caring and selfless she is. She would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it, plus a plate full of cookies just to make you happy. I am now asking that we give back to her. Due to the long extensive treatments, she is no longer able to return to work. Between the medical bills and just day to day necessities to power through this recovery, it’s become a lot for her and my father to handle. My family and I never ask for anything from others, but we need the support and are calling upon our friends and family to help.
