Stand By Chuck Fedt

On November 8, 2018, a dear friends husband, Charles Fedt, was involved in a head-on collision north of Sioux Falls, SD. Chuck was taken to Avera Mckennan hospital with life-threatening injuries.   Because of the accident, Chuck broke the femurs in both legs, one knee was broken into 20 pieces, both heels and right foot was broken, knuckles on both hands, 18 ribs, and a T8 spine fracture. He has developed a serious infection and working towards the ability to keep his feet and legs. Due to everything that was broken, Chuck has underwent 6 surgeries and has spent his time since November between 5 different facilities between Sioux Falls, SD and Omaha, NE. Chuck is currently hospitalized in Sioux Falls and will undergo at least one or two more surgeries over the next few months if everything goes well.  The doctors are currently treating Chuck for infections and other complications that have happened.  Chuck will also have multiple months of inpatient rehabilitation before going home. The estimated date for going home is May 1, 2019 if no other complications occur.  There have been many medical bills so far and they continue to pile up. This has caused his wife, Rose, to be away from work.  By starting this Go Fund Me page, I want to help Chuck and Rose with the multiple medical bills they will be receiving now and in the future for this tragic accident.
