My friend, Stacy Thrash, was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2016. In March 2017, it metastasized to her bones. She has been fighting hard for 3 years, still raising two children with her husband and working for SCAR animal rescue. Yesterday, she found out her cancer has spread to her liver. She needs to travel from Mississippi to MD Anderson for treatment. Her flight is covered but she will have medical expenses, as well as the expenses of lodging and food while she is at MD Anderson, all while maintaining her household in Laurel, MS. 

I met Stacy in 2008 while working in Gulfport, MS. She is the most positive, upbeat person I have ever met. She is a fighter. She has fought cancer 3 years and has not asked anyone for anything.
