St. Tammany Rocks Local Music Fest

As an original musician, we struggle to find a foothold in our local music scene. We have fewer venues willing to book new bands, and it becomes a cutthroat industry where we fight over available shows. With that in mind, we have a vision to create southern Louisiana's very first local music festival at Heritage Park in Slidell, La. Their amphitheatre is beautiful, and we decided it's best to use it to benefit the community; to give these acts a platform in which they can perform. We have partnered with the Miracle League Foundation, Northshore Chapter, and all proceeds are being donated to this fantastic cause. We have no goal to do this for profit, only to revitalize a struggling local music scene. There will be food + drink vendors and artists of all shapes and colors. If all goes as planned, we plan to make this an annual event as well.
