The funds we are seeking will be used to renovate the building to build two washrooms and two storage areas.  They have already fixed the multiple leaks in the basement and now need help to continue with renovations as this years budget is depleted.  The storage areas will be used by various groups including the Scout group to store their camping gear and equipment.  The Lions club has been supporting the Scouting group for more than 40 years and has always provided an excellent facilities for our Scouting youth, activities, storage and fantastic support!

The ask is simple, we are asking to get approximately 2000 shares of this post, with the hope that 1000 people would donate $10.

What will that $10 donation do?  Here are multiple ways to look at it and hopefully just one will resonate with you:

1) 10 people in our community will be directly benefit from the regular day-to-day operation
2)  It will allow the volunteers to use their time towards the 50+ great activities/organizations
3)  Is only the cost of one movie
4) Will help send used glasses to wherever they are needed around the world
5)  Will bring a smile to many youths and volunteers now and for years to come
6)  There are so many more reasons why and this post would be too long to read if we listed them all

PS If we raise more than $10,000 then the extra money will be used to continue more renovations needed throughout the facility.
