independently financed documentary about #Fangirls. It's a labor of love making this film but we are still struggling to raise funds.
Now that we have completed shooting -we really need your help to get the film completed and on screens in 2016!
The documentary feature film “Squee!” explores the truth and celebrates the enthusiastic contribution of Fangirls and the impact the Fangirl community has on popular culture.
In interviews with dozens of self-identified Fangirls including Ruth Connell, Kim Rhodes, Amber Benson, Briana Buckmaster, Lauren Tom, Bjo Trimble, Aja Romano, Flourish Klink, Heidi Tandy, Heidi MacDonald, Lynn Zubernis, Cecilia Tan, Cricket Lee, Edie Nugent Emily Asher-Perrin, Emily Kelley, Emma Fyffe, Glynnes Pruett, Jenn Wotchertonks, Tea-berry Blue, Jennifer Redelle Carey, Johnamarie Macias, Tricia Barr, Juli Mayers, Julie Hegner, Kat Ell, Katheleen David, Kitten Slatko, Luminosity Deville, Maya Dinerstein, Maris Mingus, Melissa Raposa, Meredith Gene Levine, Naomi Novik, Niki Veasey, Sandy Gremlina Manley, Sarah Milkovich , Stacey Krakus, Terra Joy McNerthney, Valerie Frankel, Valerie Stewart, Victoria Gonzalez, Victoria McNally, The Shakeups in Ponyville and Fanboys Curtis Armstrong, Ming Chen, Todd Stashwick, Chad Lindberg, Jeff Kober, Orlando Jones, Gil McKinney,Lev Grossman, James Tynion IV.
Post Producer Adam Williams has been with the Supernatural crew since Season 8. For Season 8-10 he was the VFX I/O Coordinator. For Season 11 he is the Visual Effects Coordinator for the Supernatural VFX Team. Adam is currently working as Post Producer for Squee! The Fangirl Documentary when he's not busy on Supernatural.
Co-writer and Associate Producer Lynn Zubernis is the author of a series of books on Supernatural Fandom including Fangasm: Supernatural Fangirls, as well as being extremely active in fandom and the #SPN community.
