Spring into Leadership 2019

Every day, nurses work to help make the communities they live in a better place. Their mission is to help provide the best care possible to those in need. Their voices - the nursing voice - are helping to promote and build a Culture of Health and well being across the nation.

Nurses represent the largest segment of the health care workforce. Considered the most trustworthy of all professions, nurses play a huge role on the frontlines of care in all healthcare delivery settings.

Nurses’ perspective and influence must be at decision-making tables.

The Nurses on Boards Coalition (NOBC) represents the collaboration of national nursing and other organizations working to build healthier communities across the nation. This will be accomplished increasing nurses’ presence on corporate, health-related, and other boards, panels, and commissions.

The coalition seeks to raise awareness that all boards would benefit from the unique perspective of nurses to achieve the goals of improved health and efficient and effective health care systems.

We urge the profession to “SPRING into Leadership” this May and ask for your help to ensure that nurses have a voice at the table.
