We all know someone who has used the chemotherapy day unit.
We are asking if you would consider making a donation to this very worthy fund.
SICKLY COME DANCING , the chemotherapy day unit is where chemotherapy is administered to Cancer patients.
Due to increasing demand for Cancer services in Kerry we have outgrown the current units facilities and are in the process of looking to extend the unit in order to provide a purpose built facility where patients can be treated with compassion, respect and dignity at all stages of the treatment process. The expansion of the current chemotherapy day unit is essential in order to address the growing demand for the service. The sports & Social Club of University Hospital Kerry are hosting a sickly come dancing event in Ballygarry House Hotel Tralee on February 23rd 2018.
There are 24 hospital staff members from all different disciplines within the Hospital who have volunteered to dance as well as a supporting committee.
All funds raised will go directly to the chemotherapy Day Unit.
