My name is Daniel Hill and I am the owner of Smokin Slabz BBQ located in Okinawa Japan. We produce real American Smoked BBQ for the people of Japan. The Journey all began while I was stationed with the US Airforce at Beale AFB, CA. I Started my own BBQ catering business and it steadily grew into a very sustainable business. during the time I lived in California I traveled around the country in my free time and competed in KCBS sanctioned BBQ contests and took home some awards. in 2017, I received military orders to move back to Okinawa Japan so I decided to take the business with me, so I packed everything up and shipped it to Japan. Two years later my business is now doing great with a beach front BBQ Shack and a food truck/Trailer that is mobile around the island of Okinawa. we are producing award winning BBQ and we are one of a kind in Japan.
Every year we travel from Japan to Kansas City Speedway to compete in the world’s Largest BBQ competition, The American Royal World Series of BBQ. Usually held in September, this event brings over 700 Teams that compete and over 40,000 patrons. It is also covered heavily by Media from all over the world. This event brings so much attention from all over and there is no BBQ competition like it. it is held in the infield of the Kansas City Speedway. This year just wrapped up the 39th anniversary of this competition, hosted by the American Royal association.
My Team and I are trying to raise money so we can continue to compete in the American Royal. Traveling from Japan can be difficult and expensive, especially getting equipment and our Smokers to Kansas. We would like to purchase an Enclosed trailer, Smokers and equipment/supplies needed to compete, and then keep the completed setup in Kansas City so we can avoid shipping our Giant smokers and equipment overseas every year.
We are trying to raise $25,000 before the next competition to cover purchasing a Smoker, enclosed trailer and most equipment needed, airline tickets and rental fees for the 2019 Competition.

If interested in a full sponsorship, Your flags, banners, signs etc. will be displayed all around our space for the 5 Day event. I will promote your company on all of our social media. Our Enclosed trailer can be wrapped with your logo for mobile advertising. your logo will also be on all merchandise our team wears year-round and at the competitions. our team always gets a ton of attention because we travel from so far to compete in something we love to do. (and we make amazing bbq)
