Splash Park for Lynn Haven Kids!

I am the Mayor of Lynn Haven, a small city in the Panhandle of Florida.  I have started a project to build a splash pad for the children in our town in a park owned by the city which is under-developed and rarely used.  We are a community surrounded by a large Bay and inlet waters yet our children do not have a safe place to swim or cool-off in our year-round warm temperatures.  This splash pad would allow children to walk or bicycle the short distances from most of the streets in our town; many of our children do not have transportation to larger parks and beaches in our county, and this would be a wonderful way to offer children an opportunity for fun in our community which they do not presently have.  The splash pad will be ADA accessible, fenced for safety, and will also have two covered areas which join a playground and concession stand which are already there  but are not used often due to the heat.  Our goal is to raise the $250,000 within the next 12 months, and because this is the town I grew up in, I would love to see the children have this opportunity.  Thank you for considering being a part of this exciting project!
