Spinal Surgery want to walk again
Donation protected
I am a working quality manager for a small midwestern company. I use a Rascal to get around at work and I would like to keep doing my job. My employer has been very supportive. Lately, with all of the changes in the healthcare system I have been fighting to get the surgery I have needed. Due to the costs involved with my healthcare and transitioning myself to life in a wheelchair I am tapped out. Disability won't help because I am still working. I have a genetic degeneration of the spine. I have fought this issue for the past 15 years. I need to have this surgery before I lose the use of my arms as well. I have always been able to take care of myself and my family but I have reached a dead end financially. My neurosurgeon says he can get me walking again but now with the surgery less than a month away I have no funds to survive on while I will be off work recupperating. It seems everywhere I turn for help I get nowhere. This would mean so much to me and my family if some kind hearted people could help us out in this time of great trials.
