8th Annual Spectrum: Autism at Cal 5k Run/ 3k Walk

The 5K Run is an annual event hosted by Spectrum: Autism at Cal. Through the event, we hope to fundraise for local autism and disability-focused non-profits to assist children and adults with autism. We also aim to promote autism awareness in the local community by hosting on-campus events and providing volunteering opportunities. If you do not want to run, you can also choose to walk 3K!
Spectrum: Autism at Cal is a completely student-run club on campus and all profits from the fundraiser will go directly to the local non-profits. Some of these organizations our donations go to include BORP, Special Needs Aquatic Program, and more. We also aim to increase autism awareness in the local community by hosting on-campus events and providing volunteering opportunities.
Autism Spectrum Disorders are prevalent in our society, affecting 1 in 59 children and about 1 in 37 boys in the US. Thorough healthcare and community support can be hard to come by. We want to give those who are affected the support that is often lacking due to the stigmas surrounding autism and other mental illnesses.
Simply put, you just have to run/walk to help and support a community in need!

5k Race Begins at 10:00 am
3k walk Begins at 10:05 am

Group tickets (5 or more people) are $14.99 each;
Individual Tickets are $19.99 each.
