Special Olympics Fun

The Special Education department at Provo Peaks Elementary is one of the largest in our school district. We have the pleasure of teaching and working with over 60 students with severe disabilities. We have some of the cutest, spunkiest, most wonderful kiddos in the world!
Each day is a crazy, fun-filled adventure in our classes. We love taking our students out in the community and exposing them to new things. Getting out of the classroom helps our students build so many valuable social and functional skills.
This May, we will be holding our own Special Olympics as a Special Education department! We would like to give all of our students the opportunity to experience the fun of Special Olympics during the school year. We have so many fun events for them to participate in.
We would like to give everyone in our school the opportunity to join us for this special event. With your generous support, we will be able to give a Special Olympics t-shirt to each faculty and leadership team member at our school. These t-shirts will encourage attendance at our event. We would also like to give all of our student's trophies and medals for their participation, showing good sportsmanship, and trying their best.
Any help at all would be so appreciated. Our students are so wonderful, and we want to give them every opportunity to grow, learn, and have fun.

*Just a heads up, trying to set this up so it was linked to our school's bank account is a long, red-tape-filled process that drove our secretary a little crazy. Because of this, the money donated here will be put into my personal account, and then I will immediately withdraw it and give it to the school.
