Special eyeswear for computer use

I come from a rough background and childhood in which, 2 of my early years (ages 6 to 8) have been spent as an outpatient basis doing my primary school years in a tertiary care hospital. I was also under the care of a medical team at that time (primary care medical doctor, psychiatrist, surgeon, ergologists, physiotherapists, nurses, and associated paramedical staff) for a multidisplinary assessment and diagnostic investigation purpose. This was in years 1983 to 1985 and the result has been that no formal diagnostics could ever be made in that time but this set the stage for later on when formal diagnosis have been made.

In 2004-2005, I was formally assessed by a research physician and I was issued a diagnostic of autism with above-average intelligence.

During that time, I was testing out some courses in an university and succeeded in my first course with a B average mark. Later on, I did pursue university for many more years as well as trying to work.

I did work in a few good workplace including a very large company with offices worldwide in software development. I held many jobs but I also had many life or work failure which always resulted in unemployment and now, I am still under the care of a multidisplinary medical team for which, given my life struggle so far, have been deamed big enough to warrant total disability for life and we (myself included) are documenting all aspects of my life to fill out the paperwork needed for a number of governmental agencies and ministries (taxations, retirement and disability pensions, disability, etc...) relevant to my situation.

The funds that I need is for a set of corrective eyewears designed for computer screens so that I will be able to work on the computer and they are designed with a special coating to reduce eyes fatigue and they also feature a degressive design which is made for close range view (books and computer screen or working up with tools on the computers I fix up).

These eyewears will allow me to dedicate more time to these tasks:

1-: spend more than 2 hours per day to review the scientific body of literature that I need to document all my disabilities and life issues.

2-: spend 3 to 4 hours per day on my mathematic skills using books (I have 12 mathematics book from precalculus up to stochastic probabilities, including trigonometry and linear algebra).

3-: work on my computer and software development skills. I still can do some helpful work in that area but currently, it is a very difficult task.

Those eyewears cost 906$ canadian money and one of the ministry reimburse 138$ at the moment. I have to pay, out of pocket, 768$ to have them made out.

I looked over the documentation of GoFundMe and there is a 2.9% charge on each donation plus a flat fee of 0.30$ per donation. These fees are the reason I calculated a funding goal of 825$ because 768$ plus the 2.9% fee come out to 790.27 and the remain cover several donation flat fee (around 115 donations to be as close to exact as possible).

If there is more donations, all the funds remaining will go toward having software documentation printed out (the Maxima computer algebra system http://maxima.sourceforge.net/ , the R project documentation https://www.r-project.org/ ) by Staples copy & print services.

What I plan to give back later on, when I am over all this diagnostic process is that I plan to give around 15 to 25 hours per week on both, Open Source software development and troubleshooting as well as mathematical and / or neuroscientific research and publications; that is, for the rest of my life. I intend to have the same rigor or more as when I worked my part of that scientific publication:
