Special Education Millage Renewal

Over 6,500 students in Washtenaw County, or 1-in-7, receive special education services. Students have a range of disabilities from dyslexia and hearing loss to severe physical and cognitive impairments. Students are prepared for college or taught the life skills to be productive and contributing community members.

Here’s how you can help keep special education services strong in Washtenaw County:

· Vote YES on Nov. 7, 2017 for the Special Education millage renewal (this will NOT increase taxes)

· Make a contribution that will be used to provide voters with information about the importance of this ballot proposal. Contributions of more than $100 must include your name, occupation, employer's name, and address for reporting purposes

· Get involved. Contact us on Facebook to inquire about various volunteer opportunities
