Spartico Spring Fling - Tourette Ottawa Fundraiser
The Spartico family who own Frank’s Catering and Baked Goods will hold their 1st Annual "Spring Fling" Dinner and Dance Fundraiser on Saturday May 25, 2019 from 6:00pm – Midnight at the Walter Baker Centre.
The evening proceeds will go towards Tourette Syndrome (TS) Awareness for the Ottawa Chapter of the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada.
In addition to what will be a highly anticipated evening, we have started this Go Fund Me Campaign for anyone looking to donate but unable to attend the event in person.
TS is a unique neurological disorder affecting as many as one in 100 Canadian children. It currently has no cure.
For close to 30 years the Ottawa Chapter has battled against widespread myths, misconceptions and ignorance surrounding TS through a myriad of support programs and public awareness campaigns. Many children who have Tourette Syndrome are also affected by associative conditions including obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, depression, sleeping disorders, to name a few.
