SPAID in Fodome Ahor, Ghana 2018

The Student Partnership for Aid & International Development (SPAID) is a student-organization at the College of William and Mary, which travels to the rural Volta region of Ghana in partnership with the local nonprofit, Humanity and Community Development Projects (HCDP) Ghana and the community of Fodome Ahor.  SPAID aims to foster mutually-beneficial partnerships which allow for the implementation of sustainable projects, promoting resilience and social justice.

We will be using the money raised to finish the construction of a secondary school in Fodome Ahor, Ghana. Funds will be used solely for the building materials and not for personal use (i.e. student flights or trip costs). If we exceed our goal, all funds will go to HCDP Ghana.
