Space Mountain is a grass-root space for unfettered experimentation and collaboration among artists and community. We promote risk-taking, braving first steps and exercising freedom of expression to its fullest. 

Space offers gallery, performance and meeting space, project incubation and internship opportunities.

We had a great 2017 at our location at 738 NW 62nd Street: 9 gallery shows, over 51 nights of music from hardcore punk to our monthly night of experimental jazz and sound, film screenings and performance art and 12 community trainings, workshops and presentations. What will we do with your support?

·       Our priority is to fund the gap we have making our  
         monthly rent

·       Buy a good sound system

·       Install a laundry sink

·       Buy more folding chairs

·       Install black-outs curtains

·       Make wall repairs (some folks can be a little hard on    
        them)

·       Ensure that experimental artists and community
        groups continue to have space they can call their
        own.

Space is an all-volunteer non-profit (501)(c)(3) organization that intentionally keeps a low overhead. All donations are tax deductible.
