On March 24, thousands of students will march in Washington DC, for gun control, and for their lives. Our names are Harrison and Jackson Arnberg, and we are students at American Heritage in Plantation, Florida. Our school is only 17 miles from Marjory Stoneman Douglas, the school that lost 17 lives on February 14. We've watched as the incredible students and survivors at MSD have taken to activism, organizing rallies and marches throughout the country. The biggest and most important march will be the March For Our Lives in DC on March 24.
Too many lives have been lost, and we cannot continue to sit by as students die at gunpoint in the classroom. Gun reform is needed, and we plan on doing whatever we can to support the students of MSD. As members of the South Florida community, we have taken it upon ourselves to attempt to bus 50 students to the march in DC.  This, however, is an endeavor that we cannot pay for without the support of our community.
This project is to fund a bus to travel from South Florida to Washington D.C. between March 23rd and March 25th for the protests occurring for students in D.C.  The bus will travel with politically-active students from all across South Florida.  The funds will be to pay for the bus that will take the students as well as two adult chaperones to DC and back.
We need to raise this money by March 20th, so please help us reach our goal in this limited amount of time, and help every student fight for their lives. Every penny helps, and we appreciate every donation.
If you have any specific questions about our project, or just want more details, feel free to contact us.

Best Regards,

Harrison Arnberg (Class of 2018)
Jackson Arnberg (Class of 2020)

Hi donors,
First off I want to thank everyone who donated and took the time to help us try to make change in our government.
Sadly, we didn't reach our goal of $15,000 within the time that was needed to get the bus, so the trip will not be happening, and everyone will be refunded their money.
Although we would've loved to go with our fellow students, this was still an amazing experience and further demonstrated to us how important this movement really is.
Just because we are not going to the march, doesn't mean the march won't happen, as plenty of students and parents from all around the world will still go and protest for gun reform.
If you're still interest in donating to the March for Our Lives, I've included the link here:
Thanks for helping, and hopefully real change is within our grasp.
