Sonya L Wylie Memorial

Sonya Wylie passed unexpectedly Thursday, June 7, 2018 with family and friends at her side.  Always the first to extend a helping hand, she put everyone's needs and happiness above her own.  She never met a stranger and classified everyone as family.  Survived by her spouse, Scott Wylie, sisters Paula Burkhart Ponder and Beth Burkhart Bobe, brother Brion Nantz Burkhart, numerous nieces, nephews, and great nephews, she is united in death with her son, Scott Travis Burkhart, brothers Edmond Burkhart, Jr. and Larry Donn Burkhart, parents Edmond Burkhart, Sr., and Sara Rowena Armstrong Burkhart.

Never one to turn a blind eye to the needs of others, she chose to focus her energy and compassion on those around her, including four-legged friends she considered family.

Burial is Thursday, June 14th at 2 PM at Eastern Gate Cemetery in Pensacola, FL and, in lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to assist  with funeral expenses.
