Sonny's Cancer Fund

Hi everyone, my name is Lauren Bucksath and I am the proud owner of a beautiful 10 year old male Border Collie named Sonny.

I am an animal lover and I received heart breaking news that Sonny was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer in December 2015 just a little over a week before Christmas as a 9 year old. Thanks to all of the donations we received, Sonny completed six months of chemotherapy as of August 2016 and went into remission after his third treatment. However, only six weeks after having completed his chemotherapy, Sonny came out of remission. Sonny is now undergoing a second round of chemotherapy and after having only had one treatment during this second round, Sonny was declared to be back in remission as of 18 October 2016. My family and I would really appreciate some financial assistance to provide Sonny with the veterinary treatment that he needs. All donations are accepted and would be used solely for the purpose of Sonny's chemotherapy treatment. We have been advised by our vet that each treatment Sonny receives will cost between $100-$200 AUD. Sonny's treatment is taking place at the Gold Coast Veterinary Surgery and he is being treated by Dr. Kevin Cruickshank. Kevin will be treating Sonny on a fortnightly basis.
