Dear Friends and Family,
Since sending out the "Dr. Neil Talks about Cancer" video and update (on 6/14), Neil and I have received so many emails and calls of support. "Thank you" seems like "two" few words to convey how much we appreciate every positive message and the many words of hope and caring that you have shared with us since Neil was first diagnosed.
Through the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation (LCF), we have made a new group of incredible friends in the past two years. You can check out www.lungcancerfoundation.org to learn about their wonderful work, but the website can't convey the exceptional group of people who make this organization a place of heart, tremendous help and great hope for people like me and Neil.
Neil and I participated for the first time in the Foundation's Your Next Step is the Cure 5K Walk/Jog in 2012. At that time, we promised each other that in 2013 we would put together a team to support him and the Foundation, which has given so very much to us and to many others living with lung cancer.
I hope that you will be able to walk with me and Neil as part of TEAM NEIL SOLOZIP on Sunday afternoon, September 29, at Lake Merced, San Francisco. This fun, friendly, family-oriented event even allows dogs to participate!! How great is that?!?!
