NWI Resistance is raising money for our 2019 Mexican Independence Day Parade Solidarity Float!
We want to build a float that shows solidarity between Latinx and African Americans. We think this show of solidarity from our group will be an excellent addition to the parade, we just need the funds to carry it out!
This float will be in East Chicago's Mexican Independence Day Parade on September 15th!
We are also accepting donations of:
*chicken wire
*old newspapers
*paint
We also need volunteers to help us build the float! Please express your interest by sending us an email. Include a phone number and what you might be best at helping with!
