social pool 2.0 reactivation
Donation protected
Social pool was an art project started in 2014 by artist alfredo barsuglia. The art project consisted of an eleven-by-five-feet wide pool in the Southern California desert open for anybody to use. people would visit the MAK Center for Art and Architecture in Los Angeles
to get the keys, drive to its location and then hike in the desert to find the pool. Recently social pool has been vandalized and the people who destroyed it even went as far as burning a Joshua tree in the structure causing irreversible damage to the area. By donating today you are helping fund social pool 2.0 A new minimalist pool that will be open for anyone willing to hike a distance to ecperience luxury. 100% of the donations earned will go directly towards the pool and towards repopulating the area with native plants to help the wildlife thrive!!!
