As you probably are aware, Puerto Rico is going through an extremely difficult time due to the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. The island is 79% without power and 35% without water. There is rumor that electricity will not be fully restored until 2018. News articles describe the US territory as “destroyed”.
We are a small community of Puertorricans in Savannah, GA trying to provide aid to those who still are victims of the hurricane's aftermath. We have organized a "Soccer for Puerto Rico" fundraiser this upcoming Saturday which 100% of the proceeds will go to helping the victims affected.
